Sighting

If you run into a ghost, I think you need to be honest about how you would react. Because suddenly it’s the start of summer and the thought of seeing one doesn’t scare you like it used to. It’s just another Tuesday. You no longer wonder is he the ghost or am I? and accept the fact that you both exist.

One day, he walks across you at a coffee shop and you’re both wearing black. You think it means something, but it doesn’t. Just that you are both scared.

One day, it will most likely be the last day you see him, and that’s ok. He’ll tell you that’s your journey and inside you want to scream SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT JOURNEYS but instead you just say yeah, I know. He lies to you and it’s ok to admit that you lie to him too.

In your dreams, he still doesn’t talk. He wears the same outfit like ghosts (supposedly) do. You can never reach him in time to get evidence that he was there in the first place.

Was it real? Did anyone else see that? Will someone believe me?
